Jenna Fischer's most recognizable role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved television show The Office. Fischer was awarded 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in the comedy's ensemble.
Her birthplace and childhood was within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna's mother Anne often performed in dramas at church in her younger years, and this instilled an passion for theater.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her origins. She starred in the Off-Broadway show Reasons to be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. At the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer launched Office Ladies, a podcast on Earwolf on October 19, 2019. The podcast has proven to be hugely successful, reaching in the Top Ten worldwide every week with more than 200 million downloads during its initial two years. The podcast premiered in January of 2021. Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide that outlines her path to Hollywood as a working actor as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends that Were There which is a story of the greatest relationship they shared and their time in The Office.
